Cleaning Beans
Well its just about summer, and just about time that all the crops are in. But for my uncle, he always gets behind a bit. Right now he is just starting to clean beans. So I have the painstaking job of cleaning thm. First, I have to dump some into a wagon from another wagon. Then i take a pail and dump that into a sppining turbine that gets rid of split beans and weed seeds. Then i take those from where they come out, and put them in the glipper siv. That separateds the little sticks, corn and other junk from the seed beans. Then they fall into a holding tank and I shouvel them into buckets and bring them out to my uncle in the field. Its a lot of work, but it has to be done, and Im getting paid really good, so i dont care much.

Cats.
We have six cats now. Yeah thats right, we just got four more. Four little kittens, one is named possum, one is the rat, one is odis, and one is williby/tubby. yeah they are pretty lame names, but who cares anyways. They are pretty cute and thats all that really matters, right? Yeah ok I should probably stop now.
Puppy Chow
Good stuff. Only if you eat a lttle bit. My brother and his girlfriednd made some puppy chow, and it ewas a little to tempting to eat, and I ate a little too much, and it didnt turn out so good. I got a little bit of a stomache ache so the next time you eat pup chow, dont eat too much.

Online Games
Online games aren't necessarily for kids. Online games can be enjoyed by everyone. I like just going on the internet, and looking at the games, and playing a few. Some of them are actually quite interesting and fun. So the next time your online, don't think that games are for kids, check one out, and see how you like it.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
We all love them. We all love going to Grandma's house and snathcing a few. We all love the delicious goodness of chocolate melting against the roof of your mouth. However, we need to draw a line somewhere. Personally I love to eat chocolate chip cookies, and every time I go inside my Grandma's house I take two to three. Just multiply that number by how many time times you go in a day times the number of family members. You have to also take into account, that some Uncles eat twice as many every time. My Grandma has faithfully baked cookies about twice a week for the past ever. That's not even a dramatization. She is always baking cookies. Well thank the Lord for Grandma's, and not just for their wonderful baking skills.

Finally
Finally wrestling is over. I can relax. I can eat whenever, whatever. I can do something on weekends for once. With wrestling now done, I have been presented so much free time, I have no idea what to do with it. It's nice to be able to come home when it's still light out, and be able to do something outside. It's also nice to have a little time to do your homework. So I'm glad that wrestling is finally over, and that I can finally relax!
License
I get my drivers license next week, and I'm pretty excited about it. No more having to ask my parnets to give a ride to the places I need to get to. I wont have to wait around untilll it is convenient for someone to drop me off on the way to some place. I can finally drive my self home instead of asking some kid to give a ride home. No more riding with crazy kids, I can feel safe driving myself. But there is a down side to this all. Now i will have to start paying for my own gas, which isn't cheap. But I think ill be more excited about getting my license.

Share the Fun
Spreading the fun around to all the 4-hers in the community, is what I took part in today. Yeah thats right, 4 hours of non-stop fun! Ha well it was okay. It was held at the southwest auditorium, yeah, lots of people went, there was no sitting room left. Ha kidding there was lots of free space. Well what I didn't like, was that I was the first act. I played Rachmaninhoff's prelude in c sharp major. I played it pretty well, with only a few mistakes. The second act I was in was some stupid CSI skit, that was totally butchered. Kids forgot lines and entering times, so it was a mess. I ended up getting runner up for the state fair (second place) with my rachmaninhoff piece. There were about 40 acts so I did pretty well. And I guess I had a little fun, even though i was so nervous, that my foot kept shaking off the damper pedal on the piano.
Slackers
Pick up the slack please.... Somebody in one of my classes is a really big slacker, and when they read this blog they will know who they are. They gave me the idea for this blog after I observed their homework habits. Or wait a second.. Yeah thats right, they never do their homework. By this time your probably thinking that I'm a pretty mean guy, and somewhat of a hypocrite. Let me clear some things up for you. First of all, this person wanted me to write about their slacking off. Second of all, I admit, I'm not always on top of things either, I frequently finding myself in a menagerie of different homework assignments. Sometimes, yes I don't get everything done, I admit it, but I am willing to admit things unlike this person. I wouldn't call my self a slacker anyway, just a little pressed for time, but ill get tons of time once wrestling gets over. So there will be no more procrastination when I am freed from the baondage of a winter activity.

Rockband
It's a pretty fun game if you ask me. Yesterday, was the second time Iv'e ever played rockband, and it was pretty fun. I was pretty bad at guitar hero, and the guitar on rockband I shared the same skill at. I'm not too bad at the drums though, then again I was playing on easy. And the singing, doesn't make sense to me. You don't even have to sing, all you have to do is whistle or make a sound. Well that's my rockband story.
Statebound
Yesterday, our Albert Lea tigers sealed the deal, by defeating the huskies for a second time. This time, we were competing for the chance to go to state. And we came through. Everybody wrestled tough, and no-one gave up, and thats what it took to send our team to state for the fourth year in a row. We need to keep the intesity up, right down to the end of the season, and see if we can place as a team in the state. We took second last year, let's see if we can make it there again.

Owatana vs. Albert Lea
The biggest match of the year for Albert Lea took place this Saturday. We were expecting a large crowd, and that's exactly what we got. The gym was jam packed full of screaming fans waiting to see a great match. It started off with the junior high, progressed to the jv and finished with the varsity. Each team (jh, jv and varsity) wrestled well. Now to be able to be called Big nine champs for another consecutive year, we needed to knock off the no. 4 rated huskies. Every Albert wrestler, wrestled with intesity, and with an Albert Lea wrestling attitude. We won 4 out of 5 key matches that could have gone either way in the last seconds. No one gave up, they wrestled hard, and it payed off. It finished with an Albert Lea victory, and a big nine championship.
Weekend
This weekend I helped my brother entertain his friend who was here from Virginia. We spent lots of time shooting squirrels from our window in the hallway, and tracking them down when he missed, making sure we put them out of their misery. We also went to my grandparents and played cards and ate my grandmas cookies. They are the best ever. He left today to go to college with my brother, but he may be back to visit again soon.

Superbowl
I love it when the superbowl comes around every year. First of all, there is always a ton of food around for watching the game. You can sit, watch the game and stuff your face! Second there is always funny commercials on. I hate commercials, but superbowl commercials are fun to watch. Did you know that it is almost 1 million dollars for a 30 second ad! Crazy, so they are worth it. Third it is fun to watch the teams play each other, because you know its going to be a good game. So I'm going to have fun today.

Suirrel
The squirrel population on our farm has gotten out of control. So my dad has cracked down on them, so he and I have started to thin down the numbers. So I figured, why not use the squirrel for a better purpose, other than just feeding them to the cats. So I got one, learned how to skin it by myself, gutted it out, and choped it into pieces. So I had these pieces of squirrel meat, and so I decided to cook them up, into a delicious dinner. I sautted them in onions and spices, and added a little salt and pepper. I fried them in a pan, and then let the pieces simmer for about 20 minutes. When they were done, they looked like meat from a 5star restaurant, and were delicious. I have never had squirrel before, so it was quite interesting. It tastes a lot like chicken. And the squrriles runing around our farm get real muscular, and big, so the meat was really lean and tough. I bet it's the best squirrel around.

New Ford F-150
So on the new Ford F-150, they have this step on the bed called a man step. It is suppose to make it easier to climb up into the bed to put things in it. Really? A man step? Give me a break, to me it seems to be more manly to climb up the hard way, without a stinkin step. What guy is going to take the time to pull out the step, climb up, climb down, and then put the step back? Why not just jump up and throw your stuff in. Plus, I don't think it hurts your back to climb up on your own. A man step isn't going to make that much of a difference. So if i ever got the new Ford F-150, i wouldn't base my descision on the man step. I probably wouldn't even use it. It would be a nuisance in my opinion.

The Clash
I recently wrestled two matches at the Clash in Rochester. It is a huge wrestling tournament. Teams from all over the country, including California, New Jersey, Montana, Colorado, among many others were there. It was a great experience i think, because it is the toughest tournament in the state, even bigger than the state tournament. Even though I lost both the matches i had an opportunity to wrestle in, i had fun, and was a great learning experirnce. Our team ended up going 3-3, we lost all 3 matches the first day, but came back strong the second day, and took home three victories. All in all It was fun.
